Abstract EN

The aim of the research is to find out the level of online addiction among high school students and the significance of statistical differences according to the following variables: A - Type (male - female) B - Specialization (scientific - literary).

And to identify the level of academic procrastination between high school students, and the significance of statistical differences in the level of the phenomenon of academic procrastination among high school students according to the following variables: A - type (male - female).

B - Specialization (scientific - literary).

Is there a relationship between online addiction and academic procrastination among high school students? The current study was limited to secondary students of both sexes in Anbar province in Ramadi district within the General Directorate of Anbar Education.

The researcher adopted the steps of descriptive descriptive approach to achieve his research objectives.

The current research community consisted of (54605) male and female students.

The sample was randomly selected.

The sample was 120 students.

To achieve the research objectives, the researchers adopted the online addiction scale (Kimberly Young, 1996) and the measure (Abbas, 2017) for academic delay.

The two measures were applied to the research community after processing the data by the appropriate statistical means.

The results showed that: The level of addiction to the Internet is higher than the average among the sample.

With differences in the level of addiction in favor of males.

The level of academic procrastination is higher than the average among the sample.

There are differences in procrastination in favor of males
