Abstract EN

This research aimed at revealing the range of the Egyptian experience success in managing covid-19 crisis in basic education, and how to overcome the constrains of this experience success considering the experience of People’s Republic of China.

This is to set some proposed procedures and controls that guarantee success and continuity for this experience, not only under these emergency conditions but also to take it as a continuous approach for Egyptian education.

To achieve that aim, a questionnaire of (57) phrases was prepared and applied to a random sample of (1239) teachers in basic education in Egypt.

The sample was distributed on (13) of the Egyptian governorates.

The research was based on both descriptive and comparative approaches.

The results yielded that there is a shortcoming in technology skills of the teachers and in the role of both the Edmodo platform and educational channels of the television as an educational alternative under corvid-19 crisis.

In addition, most of the sample members agreed on that research projects are not an effective alternative for evaluating students.

Considering what the results yielded, the research ended with developing some suggested procedures to overcome the constrains of covid-19 crisis management in Egypt and ways to overcome them in light of the People’s Republic of China experience.
