Abstract EN

The present paper discusses the possibility of implementing e-learning in the Algeria.

It aims to assess the opportunities of generalizing the implementation of such a mode of learning immediately all over Algerian universities as a reaction against crisis.

To do so, there have been a comparison between the requirements of e-learning and the available resources in reality.

That comparison was based on data from the world bank and The global information and technology report issued by the world economic forum.

The research argues that the Algerian university is not ready to generalize the implementation of e-learning with the expected speed, neither in terms of human resources nor in terms of infrastructure and the administration will, since the most of Algerian indicators are placed almost in the last rank.
