Abstract EN

This study aims at finding the role of public secondary school principals in raising the moral of their teachers and its relation to job performance, from the teachers' point of view.

The sample of the study consists of (299) male and female tcachcrs in Eyn Al- Basha district.

They were chosen stratified randomly from the total population of (748) teacher.

Two instruments were used: the first is by measuring the level of teachers' morale, while the second is by measuring the level of job performance.

Validity and reliability of the two instruments were assured.

The findings of the study showed that: - The level of teachers' moral at public secondary schools from their point of view showed high degree.

With mean of (3.70), and standard deviation of (0.69).

- The level of job performance at public secondary schools from teachers' point of view, showed a moderate degree.

With mean of (3.60) and standard deviation of (0.81).

- There was a positive significant correlational relationship at (a < 0.05) between the level of teachers' moral and their job performance.

With a value of person correlation coefficient of (0.763).

Among the recommendations are the following: Organizing training courses and workshops for teachers, regarding job performance and the styles that may raise its level.

- Conducting a similar studies on other educational stages.
