The study aimed to identify the extent to which specialized educators use educational programs and their effect in the development of language skills for mentally handicapped children who are able to learn.

The results showed that most of the study sample used educational programs as it contributes to the development of language skills for mentally handicapped children who are able to learn, although specialized educators receive training in the field of educational programs, they face difficulties in a varying degree.
