The research looks into potential alternatives for paying zakat al-Fitr when traditional options are not possible due to the Corona pandemic.

Such alternatives are introduced to help Muslims adhere to this great Islamic ritual proving its adaptability to any time and place.

The researcher followed an inductive approach to what Muslim jurists wrote in zakat al-Fitr.

Proposed solutions include: delaying zakat al-Fitr until circumstances permit, paying Zakat's value, paying it to the imam, paying it early in the beginning or midst of Ramadan, assigning the same representative for rich and poor, or transferring zakat al-Fitr to a pandemic-free country.
