Abstract EN

The aim of this study is to form a comprehensive objective vision of the third Israeli aggression against the Gaza Strip in 2014 in terms of; motives, objectives, and results, according to both scientific research methods; the analytical description, and the systems analysis of the data received on the subject.

This vision is formed through critical analysis of data issued by the decision-making centers of the relevant international and Arab parties and adapt it to the course of events within, benefitting from the perspectives of several policy analysts and journalists which are disseminated through the various websites.

The study found that the third Israeli aggression against the Gaza Strip, a continuation of a previous series of aggression, was promoted by a number of political, military and strategic factors.

Overall, these factors sought to eliminate the Palestinian resistance movement and destruct any Palestinian national project that poses a threat to Israel's security and its Zionist plans, or even opens the possibility of establishing an independent Palestinian state with Jerusalem as its capital.

Moreover, what has helped Israel to execute its acts of aggression is the international support, particularly from the United States of America.

In addition, the state of Arab deterioration gave Israel ample room to move forward with the implementation of its expansionist Zionist plans.
