The studies tried to explore the status of the participation of university students in community service.

To achieve the aim of the study the researcher used the social sampling survey on 252 male and female students selected randomly from fourth year students at the Islamic University of Gaza.

He also used a questionnaire as one of the tools of the study.

The study revealed that the participation of university students in community service focused on medical field, followed by social field, cultural field and finally political field.

The study also showed that there are statistically significant differences in students' participation in community service attributed to gender in favour of male students.

It also showed that there are statistically significant differences in students' participation attributed to faculty in favour of nursing students.

The study also pointed out statistically significant differences in students' participation attributed to GPA in favour of students scoring (Very Good).

Based on the findings of the study the researcher suggested a number of recommendations.
