Abstract EN

This study seeks the changes occurred at glottal stop sounds in the foreign Arabicized words.

The results of the study revealed that the languages that Arabic borrowed from contained some lexical forms in which glottal stop formed the structure of these words.

Arabic Language has influenced in the phonetic image of the foreign Arabicized words Including deletion and facilitation.

Furthermore, Arabic language has added glottal stop to some Arabicized words that did not exist in their original Languages, and this was represented in several images, such as: Inserting glottal stop, cutting the linking glottal stop.

There are words kept their image unchanged when they were arabicized except for some sounds because of the cultural conditions.
