This Study aimed to identify the level of Self-Organization, Decision-Making and Self-Esteem among the students of the Faculty of Educational Sciences at The University of Jordan and the correlation between them.
The study adopted the descriptive associative approach The study sample consisted of ( 232) students from the second semester of the academic year 2018 / 2019 ,(53) Male and (179) Female.
To achieve the objectives of the study, three measures were used: the self-regulation scale prepared by Merian (2010) and the decision-making scale prepared by Shaaban (2007) and the self-assessment scale prepared by Harhasha (2006).
The results of the study indicate that the respondents have a high level of self-regulation, decision-making ability and self-esteem.
She also pointed to the absence of statistically significant differences in the level of self-organization and decision-making attributed to sex, while noting that there were statistically significant differences in the level of self-organization attributed to the school year and were in favor of fourth year students.
And there were statistically significant differences in the level of decision-making that were attributed to the school year and were in favor of both third and fourth year students.
The results also indicated that there were statistically significant differences in the level of self-esteem attributed to sex and were in favor of males, as well as the existence of statistically significant differences in the level of self-esteem attributed to the school year and were in favor of the fourth year.
On the other hand, the results indicated a statistically significant correlation between self-regulation, decision-making and self-esteem among the sample members.
The study recommended in the light of its results a number of recommendations, the most important of which are: To provide educational programs for the development of self-esteem among students in the Faculty of Educational Sciences.
