he study aimed to identify the degree of university administration role in developing scientific research from faculty members' point of view.

The sample consisted of (144) faculty members selected randomly.

To achieve the aims of the study descriptive survey design was used.

The study results showed that the degree of university administration role in developing scientific research from faculty members' point of view was moderate.

There were statistically significant differences in the degree of university administration role in developing scientific research from faculty members' point of view due to type of university, in favor of public universities, while there were no differences due to gender and rank.

In the light of the results, the study recommends to determine the suitable plans to provide sufficient finance to support scientific research through governmental and privet organizations of the society.
