The study has addressed Bukhari’s approach in titles selection for narrations in his Sahih as an introduction to the study’s main topic, which is Bukhari’s purposes of titles selection for narrations in his Sahih.

The study has uncovered the diverse purposes of Bukhari behind stating narrations in chapters’ titles .

The study has concluded the importance of such narrations and the importance of paying attention to it because of its great benefits.

It also concluded that there are significant and various purposes behind Bukhari’s documentation to these narrations in his Sahih titles.

These purposes have differed; some were for religion, hadith, and Fiqh purposes, while others were Quranic.

Bukhari had also other purposes including preaching and Arabic related purposes .

The study has shown that recognizing Bukhari’s purposes of titles selection for narrations is a matter that needs close observation and good contemplation in Bukhari’s phrase listed at the beginning of the title, the following narrations, and the listed hadiths in the chapters.
