Abstract EN

The present study aims at identifying the nature of the relationship between the authentic leadership and the creativity, and to identify the role of thriving at work as a mediating variable in the relationship between authentic leadership and creativity.

The study data were collected from workers in telecommunication companies in the city of Riyadh.

The study sample consisted of (257) employees.

The tools of the study included: the authentic leadership scale, the thriving at work scale, and the measure of creativity.

To test the hypotheses of the study, the model of structural equations using the method of partial least squares, using the SmartPLS3 program.

According to the results of the analysis, there is a positive effect of authentic leadership in both: thriving at work and creativity, as well as a positive effect of thriving at work in creativity.

Moreover, the results also reveal that thriving at work partially mediates the relationship between authentic leadership and creativity.
