The purpose of the current study discovering the level of cognitive flexibility among high school students at Lewaa Aljamaa.

To achieve the study aims, the two researchers adopted the analytical-descriptive approach, and they translated and modified (Dennis & Vander Wall, 2010) scale of cognitive flexibility.

After the verification of validity and reliability, the scale was applied to a sample, consisting of (364) male and female students.

This sample was chosen through stratified random sampling from students attending schools during the first semester of the academic year 2019-2020 at high schools in the university brigade.

The results of the study showed a medium level of cognitive flexibility among high school students since the control field got the first place with a relative weight of (67.80%) estimated by a medium degree, while the alternatives field got the second place with a relative weight of (65.80%) estimated by a medium degree.

The results indicated that there are no statistically significant differences between averages of high school students' scores on cognitive flexibility (gender, academic year).

In terms of the study results, both researchers were recommended that training programs should be arranged to develop cognitive elasticity skills for students' secondary stage, students with low and middle grades are subject to training programs aimed to improve their cognitive elasticity.

Teachers of secondary stage must have cognitive flexibility, so that they can train their students on how to recognize, interpret and find alternatives to confront and manage difficult educational attitudes, also to conduct experimental studies aimed at detecting the impact of training programs based on cognitive elasticity skills in modifying the behavior of students at different educational levels.
