Abstract EN

The study aimed to investigate the effect of teaching a developed unit of geography textbook in light of Quranic Ayat in developing reflective thinking among seventh basic grade students.

The study sample consisted of (40) seventh basic grade students, who were divided into two groups, an experimental group consisting of (20) students taught using a developed unit, and a control group consisting of (20) students taught using in the traditional method.

To achieve the study objectives, a reflective thinking skills test was used.

The study showed that there was a statistically significant difference in reflective thinking skills levels due to group, in favor of the experimental group taught using the developed unit.

In the view of results,the study recommends enhancing the geography textbooks with the Noble Qur'anic verses, and conducting further studies to test the developed geography textbook with Noble Qur'anic verses to other vairables (different types of thinking ) and at the stages of studying .
