Abstract EN

This paper investigates the pairing of three of Allah's names, namely the exalted in might, the one to judge, and the creator with his name the all-knowing.

the study aims at defining the contexts of occurrence of each of these three pairings.

the study yielded a number of conclusions.

the most important of which is that each pairing suits and coheres with its contexts of occurrence ; and this fact attests to the inimitability of the Qur'an.

for example, the pairing of Allah's name the exalted in might with his name the all-knowing occurs nowhere but in contexts that discuss two great books : the book of revelations, i.e.

Allah's word, and how it contains a complete manual for a righteous and prosperous life, and how it guides all man's activities whether intellectual, scientific, or physical; and the book of the universe, i.e., Allah's creations, and how their magnificent inimitability attests to the oneness of Allah.
