The importance of this study is evident in the fact that the student's choice of specialization, whether in academic or literary disciplines and his satisfaction with it, is one of the subjects of great importance in his present life.

His desire to study and to raise his level of ambition.

Thus, our objective through this study was to know the relation between the desire for success and the level of ambition, and if there are differences in level of ambition between the students of second year of secondary attributed to the variable desire.

After collecting and processing the data, we found out that there was no correlation between both of the desire to achieve and the level of ambition of second year of secondary school student.

Then we also found out that there were statistically significant differences in the level of ambition between second year of secondary school students due to the variable of desire.
