Abstract EN

This Paper is intended to study the vocalic Ablaut feature in the seven readings of the Holg Qur'an.

For this reason, I will select some examples from the Qur'an readings as a sample of the various palterns of names, verbs and particles.

To reveal the phonemic change between the vowels, and its effect on directing the meaning, whether these vowels are short or long, and to explain the effect of that on the word’s structure and its meanings.

Indeed vocalic Ablaut stands and explains most of the differences forms in the Qur'an readings, such as variations of number gender, tens, modes, forms of the verbs, variations between Active and Passive, direct and indirect.

Also the tens, of the verbs will be taken into considerations.

At the end of the paper we found the particles are at the end of the various differences of the seven readings as for as readings are concerned.

The research also sought to uncover the effect of Arabic dialects and Quranic readings in changing the morphological structure of the word and its effect on directing the semantic meaning.
