This research tried to answer a question, Is it permissible for a woman to be the imam of her mahrams in prayer? The research consists of two topics: The first: Evidence for those who prohibit women to be the imam of her mahrams in prayer, and the second: Evidence for permissible women to be the imam of her mahrams in prayer.

The researchers suggested that it is permissible for a woman to be the imam of her mahram in prayer.

On condition of the security of sedition, as it was found that the evidences of those who prohibit women to be the imam of her mahrams in prayer were not strong enough to say prohibition.

The research used the descriptive and analytical method.
