Abstract EN

The heritage of Usul (foundations of Islamic Jurisprudence) has the feature of, since its inception by Imam Al-Shafi’I, and was characterized by disciplined cognitive methodology based on the rules of reason and its principles.

This study comes as a research attempt to discover the most prominent features of the rational approach in this heritage and highlight it in three chapters.

The first explains the concepts included in the title of the study.

The second is reviews the relationship of the rational approach to the principles of jurisprudence (reason and transmission) and presents a number of features of the rational approach in rules of Usul.

Third chapter highlights one of the features in question namely maintaining the original, its aspects, effects, and applications that show it practical impact.

The two researchers concluded that the rational approach represented by rational principles and logical rules has a prominent effect on the fundamentalist construction, just as the principle of preserving the original - which is the work of the rational - is a bulwark of Sharia from arbitrary interpretations.

So the fundamentalists gave him that degree of care.
