This article aims to examine the linguistic discourse of education circulating in Arab universities in general, and the Algerian University in particular, due to the negative results produced by this speech, which led us to stand in the way of its epistemological and terminology problems, especially in terms of the translation of the linguistic term, and the means of adjusting it in the light of its multiplicity of philosophical references and linguistic trends on the one hand, as well as its association with the issue of establishment and teaching within the framework of educational practice on the other hand, and this is why we raised a number of issues, problems and proposals that are raised He singled out the linguistic term educational, while explaining the reasons for the failure of some attempts to reform the linguistic practice and ways to promote it, both in terms of building a university educational linguistic discourse, and on the one hand adapting and unifying the linguistic term
