Abstract EN

Objective of the study : an evaluation study for developed 3rd Arabic curriculum textbook based on communication approach and enrichment suggestions, to achieve the objectives of the study build a list of criteria that should be considered when analyzing of the Arabic textbooks of the 3th grade in Palestine in the academic year (2018-2019) which are 2 books.

the researcher used the content analysis tool to analyze suitable for the subject of study, then was translated into a content analysis card, and then the book was analyzed in light of the list of criteria.

the findings of the analysis of 3rd Arabic curriculum textbook based on communication approach showed the following percentages: educational objectives (94.57%), communication skills (78.83%), it includes four skills as the following : listening skill (84.5%), speaking skill (77.87%), reading skill (78.01%), and writing skill (74.95%), and integration and balance between the four communication skills (81.28%), the percentages were different and varied.

in light of these results, the researcher presented a set of recommendations, the most important of which are :there is a need for authors and developers of Arabic textbooks to take into consideration that communication skills are integrated and balanced with the development of professional development programs, the preparation or service teachers during the service and developing the guides to employ it in a suitable way.
