Abstract EN

The article presents the subject of the art of Maqama in modern Algerian literature, as we learn about its beginnings through ancient literary monuments in the Arab region, and then learn about its origins and flags in Algeria, and we detail in its directions, which differed according to the writers’ intellectual premises, their different sects and cultures, without we overlook the most important topics that they presented in their shrines, which were inspired by the depth of the life of the Algerian people during the period of the French occupation, and ended with the presentation of the various artistic characteristics that characterized this art.
