Abstract EN

The aim of this research is to examine the psychological characteristics of the special education female teacher assessment scale for the development of social skills of children with autism spectrum disorder.

therefore, the measurement was applied to a sample of 142 special education female teachers of some integrated schools and centers for persons with special needs in the governorate of Fayoum in the 2020-2021 school year, with an arithmatic mean of the high social skills assessment of children with autism spectrum disorder (30,2746) and a standard deviation of (6,20014).

the researcher used the following statistical approaches : internal consistency, the jury members' validity, the exploratory factor analysis (EFA) to calculate the scale's validity, the coefficient alpha, and the value of the reliability coefficient.

the results of the analysis showed that the scale had a high degree of internal consistency, the jury members' validity and the concurrent validity.

the measurement also achieved a high degree of reliability, which confirms its effectiveness in measuring the social skills of special education female teachers of children with autism spectrum disorder.

thus the results of using this measurement were validated.
