Abstract EN

The purpose of the study is to investigate the relationship between quality of life and gratitude among Syrian refugees in the Zaatari camp in the Jordanian governorate of Mafraq.

The study sample consisted of (2,500) Syrian refugees, (1050) male refugees and (1450) female refugees, from the year 2020-2021.

To achieve the aims of the study, the World Health Organization Quality of Life Scale (WHOQOL) -BREF) and the (Ababneh, 2015) gratitude scale were used.

The results of the study showed that the quality of life and gratitude were high among Syrian refugees.

There are significant statistical differences at the level of (α = 0.05) for the effect of gender on the level of gratitude and in favor of females, while there were significant statistical differences in the level of gratitude according to age and in favor of the younger ones, and also the results indicated a positive and significant statistical relationship between the quality of life and gratitude.
