Abstract EN

The study aims at developing the course of computing school curricula in the light of (ISTE) standards and check its effectiveness in the skills of designing electronic courses among the female students of Al-Aqsa University in Gaza.

The study tools consisted of a cognitive test, an observation card, and a product assessment card for electronic course design skills.

They were applied to the study sample that consisted of (44) female students of the faculty of Education at Al-Aqsa University.

The researchers used both the descriptive analytical approach, and the experimental approach.

The findings of the study developed a tentative proposal for developing the course of computing school curricula in the light of the standards of the International Society for Technology in Education (ISTE), and set forth a referred list of electronic courses’ design skills.

There are of statistically significant differences at the level of significance (α = 0.01) between the mean scores of the students of the experimental and control groups in the post application of the cognitive test, the observation card and the assessment card for e-course design skills, in favor of the experimental group.

The study recommended employing the list of e-course design skills it reached in designing e-learning courses for the general and university education.
