Abstract EN

The aim of this study is to identify the relationship between cognitive load and multiple intelligences: mathematical-logical intelligence, intrapersonal intelligence, and emotional intelligence.

The sample comprised students from secondary schools in Hawally district (n= 245).

Four tools were used: cognitive load scale by Al-Feel (2015), scales of mathematical-logical intelligence, intrapersonal intelligence, emotional intelligence (Wehba, 2018).

Results indicated that there is no significant correlation between cognitive load and multiple intelligences, per se and there are no significant differences between males and females as of the study variables.

Finally, the best predictors of the cognitive load in the total sample are mathematical-logical intelligence and emotional intelligence.
