Abstract EN

The Tunisian Public School, with its different reform models, is considered a community project open to various current educational experiences.

Unlike years ago, however, public education is no longer placed on a broad public bet, without a clearly reformed vision of the public system, versus the expansion of the private education system, as a true competitor capable of transforming actors’ representations and reformulating their attitudes and convictions about their children’s education.

The development of social and economic relations has led to a shift in the level of awareness of what private education is in the mental perception of Tunisian social actors, from a judgment of failure and contempt to a model of success and imitating.
