The research aims to reveal the most appropriate pattern of augmented reality games, indicative of its impact on the development of the cognitive and skill sides of the skills of historical thinking and engagement among middle school students, and to determine the extent of students' involvement in augmented reality games.

The search results revealed that there are statistically significant differences at the level (0.05) between the mean scores of the three experimental groups in the pre and post applications of testing historical thinking skills in favor of the post application.
