Abstract EN

The study aimed to identifing the cognitive distortions and their relationship to globalization anxiety among Mutah University students.

the study sample consisted of (634) male and female students from Mutah University who were chosen by the available method.

two measures were developed which are the scale of cognitive distortions and the measure of globalization anxiety.

the results revealed that the overall mean of cognitive distortions came in a middle score, then came the arbitrary inference which was the highest in the distortions scale.

the selective abstraction was the least one.

the globalization anxiety also appeared with a high degree.

the cognitive distortions in globalization anxiety among Mutah university students were interpreted in about (0.723) which is a high explanatory force that indicates the existence of cognitive distortions effect in globalization anxiety among the study sample.
