Abstract EN

The researcher initially interpreted Al-Dimamini’s introduction and then descussed the temporal framework outlined by grammarians for quoting poetry, which is the middle of the second Hijri century.

The researcher also surveyed the mongrel poets whom Al-Dimamini mentioned in his book titled “Al-Nahl Al-Safi” and investigated and analyzed the grammatical issues exemplified by quoting the mongrels’ poetry.

The researcher came out with some conclusions which prove that Al-Dimamini, concerning his quoting of poetry, was in harmony with the grammarians’ opinion, which traces the root of quoting poetry until the middle of the second Hijri century and not as the verifier of “Al-Nahl Al-Safi” stated.
