Abstract EN

This study aimed at investigating the impact of active learning strategies on the development of decision-making skills and learning motivation of FES students (UNRWA).

The sample of the study consisted of (54) students, selected from the second year students in the Faculty of Educational Sciences, distributed into two groups, experimental and control.

To achieve the objectives of the study, a questionnaire of decision-making and learning motivation were used, and the validity and reliability of scales were verifying in appropriate ways.

The results of the study revealed the existence of significant statistical differences between the results of the two groups of students in six of the decision-making skills, and five domains of motivation for learning.

The study recommended that teachers should be trained to apply active learning strategies to enhance thinking skills and motivation.
