Abstract EN

This study aimed at knowing the reality of the Islamic Waqf in the Gaza Strip, the adequacy & appropriateness of investment methods used from the standpoint of personnel of the Ministry of Wqaf.

To fulfill the study aims, the researchers followed the descriptive & analytic method.

They prepared a questionnaire which was forwarded to the Ministry of Endowment (MOE) employees in the Gaza strip.

Answers were statistically analyzed using appropriate statistical styles, as has been tested hypotheses.

It was the most important results: the availability of a reasonable degree of financial & administrative independence in making investment decisions of the Islamic Waqf, existence of administrative qualification with low to those in charge of the MOE's investment, investment versions were followed by the MOE, they were limited & weak relevance.

The study came out with: the need for capacity development and managerial competencies of those in charge of investment funds, develop formulas investment funds endowment established at the Ministry of Wqaf in the Gaza Strip, the development of formats new investment depending on the principle of variation in versions of investing and financing so as to decrease the danger, Interest in issuing the religious proof for investing endowment money in the light of modern Islamic aspects and versions.

Reconciliation of the variant views in order to help the ministry to develop its investment.
