تتعامل هذه الدراسة حصرا مع سرطان الثدي النوع الخبيث (سرطان القنوات المنتشر) و دراسة التغيرات الجينية خلال عملية التسرطن.
شملت عينة الدراسة عشرون حالة من المصابين بسرطان الثدي و عشر أفراد طبيعيين ظاهريا (سيطرة).
تم إجراء دراسة جزيئية للعينات النسيجية من جميع المشتركين في الدراسة لمعرفة العلاقة بين فقدان تغاير الزيجية و خطورة الإصابة بسرطان الثدي.
أشارت نتائج الدراسة إلى وجود ظاهرة فقدان تغاير الزيجية في عينتين من مجموع العينات لموقع واحد من المواقع الجينية موضع الدراسة (D8S1145) بالمقارنة مع عينة نسيجية طبيعية و أخرى ورمية (حميدة).
Abstract EN
Breast cancer is the commonest cancer affecting women worldwide.
This study is confined mainly to the malignant subtype invasive ductal carcinoma and designated to study the genetic changes in breast carcinogenesis.
Twenty subjects of Iraqi breast cancer cases in addition to 10 control individuals were the subjects of this study.
All cases were subjected to molecular study to find a relationship between 8p LOH and the risk of breast cancer.
The results showed that 2 cases were LOH positive for one of the studied polymorphic markers (D8S1145) in comparison to one normal and other benign control with normal genotype.
