Abstract EN

This study aimed at finding the resource of job strain for private secondary school teachers at Amman governorate and experiences for reducement from their point of viewî and to find out the experiences to reduce job strain.

In order to achieve the aims to the study a tool was built after assuring its validity and reliability to find out the resources of the job strain among teachers and experience for reducement.

The tool was applied on a 400 male and female teachers chosen randomly.

The results of the study showed the following : The main job strain among teachers were as follows: correcting students homework and duties, lots of paper work, teaching load, misconceptions of teachers' work load by society, weakly duties, and misbehavior of students.

The main experiences for reducing job strain were: professionality & the course presenter, setting rules and regulations for students' behavior control, and religious practices.

There were no statistical significant dif erences in job strain resources due to gender, work experience variables, while there were a statistical significant dif erence due to teaching load variable.

There were no statistical significant dif erences in the experiences that reduce job strains due to gender, qualification, experience, and teaching load variable.
