Abstract EN

This paper aims at studying the story of a Jewish man, “Ibn Sayyad”, who converted to Islam and lived in El- Madina El-Monawara at the time Prophet Mohammed (peace be upon him).

He had some characteristics of the humbug, Al-Dajjal.

Mohammed, peace be upon him, was skeptical about him The prophet and his companions watched him trying to reveal his character, for fear that he was Al-Dajjal , taking into consideration that Ibn Sayyad was a liar and a humbug, which might mean that he was Al-Dajjal.

For unveiling his character, this paper tends to settle the issue about the man, whether he was a clergyman or the a humbug, whom our prophet informed us about as to appear after him, or he was the one - eyed Al-Dajjal whom our prophet told us about as to appear at the end of life, and who was sign of the hereafter.

This will be treated by giving several evidences which prove that the one - eyed Al-Dajjal is another one, not Ibn Sayyad; there fore, this paper confirms that he was a priest and a humbug
