Abstract EN

This study aims to examine the effectiveness of Quranic stories in enriching pre-school children creative thinking skills.

The study sample was thirty two preschool children (boys and girls) aged five to six years selected randomly from kindergarten in Safoot area near Amman.

They were divided into two groups (experimental group and systematic group) each has sixteen children.

The method implemented a design of two story study units excerpted from Quran Suras of Yousef and Ibrahim (peace be upon both).

The researchers designed a measure for evaluating creative thinking of pre-school children.

Results showed there were statistical ،lifferences in post application between the two groups compared with the pre application evaluation.

The results were to the benefit of enhancing the experimental group creative thinking skills on each axis of originality, fluency and flexibility.

Thus it implies the usage of Quranic story in teaching pre-school children اا؛بم improve their creative thinking abilities
