This research deals with Bardawil Castle, on the Nablus road- Jerusalem, and its geographical location, and the reason for establishing this, also discusses the administrative subordination of the castle, and the date of construction of the castle by King Crusader Baldwin I, and Comparison with other castles in terms of planning, especially in areas and elements of architecture neighbors of the Crusader Kingdom, also deals with research to social and economic life style inside the castle, which used to represent rural and military lifestyle at the same time, as well as the handling of the role of the castles of historical and military terms, especially in the period of the Frankish-Muslim conflict for control of the Levant, has also been addressed architectural description of the castle doors and windows, contracts and ratchets, techniques and building materials used, and that is the way stones and trimmed, lime and earth element.
