Abstract EN

The extent and diversity of woman’s participation in areas of public life calls for establishing the legal foundation of this phenomenon.

This paper considered the subject in the light of the Tradition of the Prophet PBUH.

The significance of the study resides in informing the woman and society at large of the position of Sunnah in this regard.

The paper comprised an introduction, two parts and a conclusion.

The fist part presented the concept of the woman coming out to take part in the areas of public life and the reasons behind that.

The second part outlined the Prophetic injunctions to women when engaged in areas of public life.

The conclusion offered some important findings and recommendations.
