Abstract EN

This research aims at knowing the reality of computers employment in teaching and learning processes, and identifying the uses’ obstacles in some primary schools in Damascus- rural governorate.

Research sample consisted of 72 teachers in episode I and II of the basic education in that governorate.

And the researcher used tow questionnaires: questionnaire aims at knowing the using of computer in education.

It included (15).

The second questionnaire aims at knowing difficulties of using computer in education.

It included (17).

The results of the study indicated a weakness in using of computer in the educational process.

The results also showed that there are difficulties in the use of computer in education.

The most influential computer difficulties in the education of teachers in the sample is the lack of educational software in the school ready for use, and the lack of educational CDs or movies on subjects within the school, and the lack of capacity of teachers to use computers, and not knowing the teacher how to employ technology in the service of education.
