Abstract EN

The current study aims to determining the relationship between forgiveness, revenge and personality traits and the differences in the forgiveness and vengeful among meal and female.

The Study Sample consists of (324) of university students (160 meal, 164 female).

The researcher used forgiveness trait scale, vengeful scale and the big five factors of personality inventory.

The Results showed that there is significant negative correlation between forgiveness and revenge, and positive coloration between forgiveness, agreeableness, openness to experience Extraversion, conscientiousness, and negative correlation with neuroticism, there is a significant negative coloration between revenge and agreeableness, openness to experience, Extraversion, and conscientiousness, and positive coloration with neuroticism, and the result indicated there is a significant different between male and female in forgiveness and revenge
