Abstract EN

This study aims to explore the role of civil community institutions in assuring national security in jordan, The descriptive approach was used to achieve the objectives of the study.

A survey questionnaire, contained of (66) items and distributed on (341) faculty administrative-members who were distributed on three institutions: political parties, faculty of cultural and teachers association, was conducted.

The result showed a high degree of the role of civil community institutions in assuring national security in Jordan, and no statistically significant differences at the level (0.05) in the role of civil community institutions in assuring national security in jordan, due to variable of (institution type, job title, educational qualification).

The study recommended developing practical strategies and mechanisms to fight against the phenomenon of terrorism, extremism and reduce, follow, and alienate it.
