Abstract EN

This research aims at examining the technical construction and the elements of the collection (the death of the dead man) by the Jordanian storyteller, Jamal Abu Hamdan, as he tries to provide an analytical reading of this collection.

The collection is considered distinguished in its language, themes, and contents.

Therefore, diligence is required while dealing with those texts by allowing them to present themselves.

The research is composed of four sections.

The first section deals with the storyteller’s, Jamal Abu Hamdan, life and his most important narrative, theatrical or dramatic creations.

The second section deals with the story construction of the collection, event and characters building time and place, linguistic construction, as well as time and place.

The third section deals with narration construction of the collection as well as narration ,dialogue and linguistic .

The Forth section of the research deals with the value of death that appeared the most pivotal incident in most of the stories of the collection.

The last section discusses some common phenomena among the stories that constitute the collection, the death of the dead man.
