Abstract EN

The study aimed at evaluating the performance of physical education teachers in the light of professional standards for teachers and then conceived a proposal for the development of their performance, and to achieve the goal of the study, the researcher developed a questionnaire in the light of contemporary professional standards, included (6) standards and (53) indicator .

The questionnaire were applied to a sample deliberate composed (22) head teachers from the provinces of Gaza and (5) supervisor of physical education.

and use the focus group to develop a proposal perception, the results of the study showed that the degree of physical education teachers commitment to professional standards for teachers (as a whole) were intermediate relative rate (78.64%) from the head teachers 'point of view, and was medium with a relative weight (68.30%) from the supervisors' point of view.

The overall degree of supervisors and head teachers a whole was medium with a relative weight of (73.47%).

Results on the effect of the job title showed statistically significant differences between the average scores of the sample members in favor of head teachers.
