Abstract EN

Objectives: Study aims to reveal the differences between Children with Asperger's syndrome and autistic children in attention, perception & disclosure of the strength of the association between attention and visual perception among the two groups of study, children with autism and Asperger syndrome.

Methodology: The sample of the study consisted of 15 children , (9autistic & 6 with Asperger's syndrome), aged (4-9) years old.

Tools: different tools was used in the study including: Stanford-Intelligence Scale: Fifth Edition, translated by Safwat Farag, Gilliam Autism Rating Scale, translated by Adel AbduAllah, Gads- Gilliam Asperger's Disorder Scale, translated by Yousra Sleim, socio-Economic and cultural level scale by Muhammad El- Behiry 2002, Illustrated visual perception scale by Fatima Samir, Selective attention scale, by Fatima Samir.

Results: The results yielded presorts of Statistical significant differences between mean rank of:both Autistic& Asperger's children taken on the Selective attention scale& also on the Illustrated visual perception scale, both was for the Children with Asperger s syndrome.

Also there is Statistically significant link between the scoring of the Sample taken on the Selective attention scale& the Illustrated visual perception scale, for the high function Autistic children at exact sig 0.05, and presence of Statistically significant link between the scoring of the Sample taken on the Selective attention scale& the Illustrated visual perception scale, for the children with Asperger's syndrome at exact sig.
