Abstract EN

The study aimed to provide conceived proposal to develop the education faculties at Jordanian governmental universities in light of the quality requirements and global competition indicators from the viewpoint of faculty members, this study used descriptive analytical method.

To achieve the study objectives, a questionnaire was developed to collect data from the study sample that its number was 56 faculty members from the Jordanian governmental universities.

The main results of the study were as the following: The means of faculty members’ perceptions about the reality of education faculties at Jordanian governmental universities in the light of the quality and global competition indicators were a medium degree with a mean (2.53) and standard deviation (0.67).

This research built conceived proposal in accordance with organized scientific method that depend on the current study results, the answers to the study sample, their suggestions, and recommendations on the open questions that addressed to them, and the research literature.

The study found a number of recommendations, most notably recommendation was building strategic partnerships with countries with successful experiences in the development of colleges of education in accordance with the standards and global rankings.
