Abstract EN

This study aimed to verify the effectiveness of a training program that is based on a strategy of an accidental education for the development of language skills in children with autism in the province of Taif.

The sample consisted of (12) children suffering from autism, between the ages of (8-12).

as an experimental group.

The researchers developed a measure of language skills for children with autism and they checked its validity and reliability.

The researchers designed a training program based on the strategy of accidental education for the development of some language skills in children with autism.

The program consists of (16) sessions that are spread as two sessions per week, each session is 30 minutes long, and its validity was checked.

The mean and the standard deviations are used to calculate the grades of members of experimental and control groups, and test hypotheses using the Mann-Whitney test to study the differences between degrees of independent groups.

Willcoxon Test is used to study the differences between the mean ranks of control groups.

The study reached the following conclusions: 1.

1-There are significant differences between the average grades of the experimental group in the post test using the test of language skills 2.

There are no statistically significant differences between the average grades of the experimental group in the post and follow up test after two months of applying the training program
