Abstract EN

Evidence-based practices are one of the most important current issues in special education in developed countries.

Laws require teachers to implement evidence-based practices when teaching students with disabilities due to the positive effects for using these practices.

Unfortunately, these practices are rarely discussed in the Arab world.

Therefore, the purpose of this study to define the concept of evidencebased practices, their importance, clarifying the criteria that are used to determine evidence-based practices, how to choose evidence-based practices, obstacles to their implementation, and examples of these practices.

Finally, this study presented several recommendations and suggestions related to evidence-based practices in the Arab world
