Teacher preparation programs based on competencies are among the most prominent trends in the last decades of the last century.
Educators increased their interest in teacher preparation programs based on competencies that aimed at reaching the learner to a predetermined level he cannot graduate with out.
One of the main interests of these programs was to raise the efficiency of learners to the highest possible levels, and the impact of this performance on the education of students, so that the efficiency of the teacher is not measured by the courses that the students receive or the total hours they have completed, or the time spent in training or any other requirements for graduation, but it should be measured by the impact of teacher performance on his students and the community where he lives Therefore, this study aimed to identify competencies of special education teacher in employment of educational technology through social media .A questionnaire was done for this purpose (prepared by the researcher).
There are no significant differences in the competencies of the special education teacher in employment of educational technology through social media as regard to variability in gender, but there are differences of statistical significance due to the variable experience.
