Abstract EN

This study investigates the belief of the People of Sunnah, Ahl al-Sunnah wal-Jamma’ah, and the Twelver Shia, Ithna-Ashariyyah, about Allah’s Kursi, footstool, and Arsh, throne.

The study discussed the statements of People of Sunnah in this regard and cited their evidences from the Noble Quran and Sunnah, and the verdicts of the righteous Salaf, the People of Sunnah and the Jama'ah, which are mentioned in their books and narrations.

The study also discussed the statements of Shia regarding their interpretation of Arsh and Kursi, and cited their evidences from the Noble Quran, the authentic Hadith narrations mentioned in their books, and the opinions of their scholars and imams The study concluded that the Arsh and Kursi are two bodies that Allah Almighty created, and that they exist in reality.

The study denied the opinions of Shia in their interpretations that the Arsh is the limitless knowledge, and that the Kursi is limited knowledge, or any other false claims.
